The Montréal Zen Association is part of the International Zen Association:

tl_files/images/liens/lien_azi.jpgOfficial portal of the International Zen Association founded in 1970 by Master Taisen Deshimaru. Today, the AZI represents more than 200 dojos and practice centers worldwide, mainly in Europe.

Raphaël Dôkô Triet is the referent of Montreal's dojo.

He lives in Paris and leads sesshin in many countries, especially in Montreal and in the temples of Gendronnière and Seikyuji.tl_files/images/liens/droppedImage.jpg

Our practice is by definition related to the Sôtô Zen school of Japan:

The Sôtô school teaches the authentic buddhist Dharma, transmitted from generation to generation by our predecessors since the time of Shakyamuni Buddha, the founder of the doctrine, up to this day.

There are many places of Zen practice around the world.
Some of them are listed in this section of the Menu, on the left (partial list).
